
DNS Change for
Macintosh Apple OS 6.3 to 9.1.2
Due to
upgrades in our system, CVC members using
DNS Addressing for the Name Server Address
will need to make the following changes as soon as possible.
If you have any questions
regarding these instructions,
please call the office weekdays - from 8:30 a.m. to 5: 30 p.m.
Depending on the version of
Macintosh Apple OS system you
are using, the steps shown below may vary. Please take the overall
information and apply the settings in the appropriate screens.
Instructions can be read online or printed.
1.) From the Apple Menu select
Control Panels,
and open the
TCP/IP Control Panel.
2.) Enter the following settings
(sample screen below):
| Connect via: PPP |
| Configure: Using PPP Server |
| Name server
addr: 65.125.100.3 205.238.26.97 |
| Search
domains: cvc.net
The Search domains does not need to be set to anything. But you may want to put in "cvc.net" for redundancy. |

3.) Click the Close Box
to Save your changes.
Your finished! Please restart your computer, to refresh the system.
