HOW TO MOVE YOUR FAVORITES FROM
AOL TO CVC INTERNET

Internet Explorer            Netscape 6.0 +

1. Open your AOL access page.
   

2. Click on your "Favorites" folder.
   

3. Click on "Save/Replace."
   

4. When the "Save/Replace" window opens, select "Save" and click OK.
   

5. You will now be able to save these files to disk (this will also serve as a back up copy - or save to your desktop).
   

Internet Explorer

1. Open Internet Explorer.
   

2. Click on File and select "Import and Export."
   

3. A "Welcome to the Import/Export Wizard" window will appear, click Next to continue.

9. By default, "Import Favorites" is highlighted.  Click Next to continue.
   
   
   
   

10. Select the area where you saved your "Favorites":

11. Click Browse to select where you saved your "Favorites" (if the default is not correct).  Click Save to continue.

12. By default, the "Favorites" folder shows where your favorites are being placed.  Click Next to continue.

13. The next window completes the Import process.  Click Finish to complete the transfer.

14. The final window will tell you the Import is complete.  Click OK to return to Internet Explorer.

Netscape 6.0 and higher

1. Open Netscape and click on Bookmarks.  Next, click on Manage Bookmarks.

2. Click on the File menu and select Import Bookmarks.

3. Choose where you stored your Bookmark folder. Select your Bookmark folder and click on Open.

4. Your Bookmarks will now appear in the Manage Bookmark screen.  Close the window and click on Bookmarks to verify they have been imported.
