New Users To Internet Access

To connect to the Internet, follow the steps below.

Double-click on the CVC Internet icon on your desktop.
This will bring up a Connect To window. In this window, it will ask for a username
and password. Type in your username and password in lowercase, and click
on the Connect button at the bottom of the window.
The next window you will see, will indicate the modem is dialing, and the server is
verifying your username and password. After the server recognizes the username
and password, it will indicate connection with your modem speed.
Next, double-click on the Netscape or Explorer icon.
This will bring up a window with a lightening storm, this is CVC Internet's
home page. Below the lightening storm is clickable graphics linked to the following:
- Services - Information on CVC Internet services.
- Business Sites - Links to business sites and domains.
- Members Pages - Links to CVC members personal pages.
- Help Guide - Links to information for setting up and using Internet access.
- Klamath County Directory - A guide to business, services, events and
  attractions in Klamath County. (Free listing to all business/domain web accounts!)
- Calendar of Events - Listing of upcoming events in Klamath County.
- Weather - Current weather conditions and five day forecasts for anywhere in
  the world.
- Weblinks - Popular weblinks to various websites. Great way for new users
  to view the Internet.
- Internet Search - 24 Search Engines to help search the Internet for a certain
  topic or item.
To close the browser window, click on the File Menu and select Close.
